Providence

Last month we were blessed to have Jen Davis, a missionary church planter who grew up in Marshall County join us via Zoom for Sunday school. She is currently living in Providence, Rhode Island, working with college students for Sacred City Church, a church planted largely by Iowa Christians. Jen's ministry is a part of Campus Fellowship which is also active at Iowa State, Drake, and Grand View.

Jen left us with the following prayer requests:

• For the student leaders at Rhode Island College to be excited for outreach this Fall and able to love the campus well.

• That Campus Fellowship would be able to start at Brown University and God would raise up 5 men and 5 women to be a part of the ministry this year.

• That the students who went home for the summer would be good Christian witnesses at home and continue to grow in their faith while away.

We also pray:

That the Lord provides for Jen’s needs, physical, emotional, and spiritual, filling her with hope and the desire to continue in the work he sets before her each day, providing encouragement in many forms, and that he continues to disciple her as she helps draw others to him and disciples them, all for the glory of his kingdom. In Jesus’ name, amen.
