Blessing Bags
Earlier this year, the Missions and Evangelism committee applied for and received a grant from the Presbytery to purchase supplies to fill 30 blessing bags for people in our community. We received a letter from Nathan Mandsager, CEO of ChildVoice, asking for prayers and sharing some of the things they are praising God for at this time. Liberty from Hunger Food Drive
“to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” – Luke 4:18 ESV Happy 250th birthday, America! To celebrate the semiquincentennial of the Declaration of Independence, First Presbyterian Church is having a Liberty from Hunger food drive through the Fourth of July holiday. We aim to collect 1,776 items across seven categories, with a goal of 250 items in each category. We have high goals, but there is a high level of need in our community.
