MorningStar Missions Update & Prayer requests

Shawn & Nancy Paul are expanding their ministry in Central America, and they have some new prayer requests related to that. They also have a number of updates and stories of God's work through MorningStar Missions on their website:

Here are their most recent prayer requests:

Nancy and I appreciate your prayers for our personal lives and ministry here in Central America. Also, if you have a prayer request, please feel free to email me at

1. Looking for a Different Home to Rent - Nancy and I have been in this current home for 8 years. We are starting the process of finding a different home to rent. We have specific needs for our ministry as it is developing. We are believing for a 4 bedroom house, storage, and a place to park our vehicles. Our heart's desire is to host more interns in the future and guest ministers; that is the reason for more bedrooms. We want to help save them the hotel cost and give them the privacy they need. Also, security is a must, when we travel, we want to ensure our home is secure.

Pray for God to move on the hearts of people to financially partner with us. As we all know, as the ministry grows, there are more expenses that come with it.

2. VEHICLE FOR NANCY - We believe in raising the money needed to buy Nancy a SUV. God has blessed us in many ways with automobiles for our work in the mountains. As our ministry is shifting to serving in a broader capacity (Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala), she will be traveling more. Her current vehicle (2007 Chevrolet Colorado) is not conducive for this type of travel.

  • We are believing for a Toyota 4Runner

  • We are considering 2012 to 2017

  • The price range we are trying to stay within is $20,000 to $25,000

  • 4x4 will be versatile for her in different types of terrain

  • Large enough to carry personnel and needed equipment

  • Thank you for your prayers and consideration in sowing into this

Nancy and I are praying for you all. We pray that all those connected to us are blessed beyond measure in all areas of your lives! That God will use you in a mighty way for the advancement of his Kingdom wherever that may be. In Jesus name, Amen!
