I recognize we are almost a week into Lent already, but this week I want to offer a Lenten devotional from the Presbyterian Mission Agency. The devotional is based on Matthew 25, the famous passage where Jesus explains that every time we do something for those who are hungry, thirsty, lonely, sick, naked, or in prison, we are doing it for him. Each week of this devotional is based on a different section of that passage. For example, week 1 is based on "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat." You can find the daily devotional here or you can read more about the intent of the whole devotional here.
I hope you find practices in this Lenten season that will refresh and encourage your soul as you follow after Jesus. This devotional is just one option of many, many options out there for Lenten resources, but I would encourage you to find something you connect with and that leads you into God's presence regularly throughout Lent and the weeks and months to follow.
