How Could it Happen?

We received an unsettling update from our mission co-workers in the Philippines, Cobbie and Dessa Palm, last week. They have shared about the dangerous political climate in the country before, and they continue to be distressed about the situation, especially as it has derailed peace talks within the country. They ask us all to remember Romans 12:2 - "Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God- what is good and acceptable and perfect."

As disinformation spreads destroying the hopes of the Peace Talks, the gathering of church people to advocate for its resumption has become tenuous.
