Trying to Follow the Good Samaritan

Today instead of sharing a missionary update, I want to share an article that helped me think more generally about how I am called to serve others. I hope all of us have come to recognize that we are missionaries in our own places, no matter where we are, but this means that service often competes with everything else we do as we go through our days and weeks. I found that a recent article from Christianity Today helped me think through what it means to follow in the footsteps of the Good Samaritan. It is an excellent reminder of the intrusiveness of God’s call.
